VR Horror Game Organ Quarter Casts Players Out Into A Grotesque, Disease-Ridden City
Players will get to feel an intimate connection with the sickening, pulsating growths all over the gloomy, disease-ridden city they explore in Organ Quarter. However, the growths and masses of flesh are just the start of their problems, as twisted bodies and unsettling machines will come looking for the players that wander these places.
Apparently, you’ve been spending a little too much time in your apartment, as after a few weeks, you find yourself looking out into this blood-red hellscape filled with fleshy patches and shuddering beasts. Still, what else is there for the player to do than start meandering the streets to see what’s going on? However, Organ Quarter is looking to pay homage to 90’s horror game, so expect to strictly manage your bullets and resources while poking around, so don’t waste any shots when some creepy thing comes crawling up in your face. In VR.
Organ Quarter offers vivid (if somewhat gross) landscapes, winding tight corridors to create unease, some wild monster designs, and some neat puzzles and weapons to tie it all together, all with that VR touch to make it all seem startlingly real.
Organ Quarter is available for $24.99 on Steam. For more information on the game and developer Outer Brain Studios, you can head to the developer’s site or follow them on Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter.
